1969 – Osmania University - Intolerance, discontent and struggle for justice against never ending negligence and exploitation, have surfaced the minds of many people of Telangana. Notion was to fight the injustice being done to the region disrespecting the then made gentlemen’s treaty.Despite of the support from government employees and few Members of the State Legislative Assembly, violence took its place and led to the brutal murder of around 400 student agitators.

Voices united, thoughts synchronized and dreams converged. Inspired by the sacrifices of many worthy lives of students and intellectuals for the only cause of deserved justice through separate Telangana state, YUVA TELANGANA has emerged with its aspiring and energetic like-minded youngsters fighting for a common goal.
Yuva Telangana has made its first move by extending its needy hand to the effective ongoing movement. Since the major involvement is from students, it is extremely important to vitalize the momentum and instill the motivation just by making them feel that they are not alone in the battle.
Yuva Telangana would like to thank all the Journalists, Writers, Intellectuals, Lawyers, Doctors, Businessmen, Students of Osmania University, Kakatiya University, JNTU, Kakatiya Medical College, Mahatma Gandhi University, Palamoor University, Satavahana University and Telangana University and Student unions, political parites, trade union members, barbers, washermen, farmers, auto-rickshaw drivers, coal mine workers and even staff of local crematoriums who have been participating in the agitations and have been showing their support for the cause of Telangana.
To be very simple, we all hail from Telangana and our immense love towards our mother land is more than enough to justify our contribution. Our grandparents, guardians, guides and friends always have had their share of information passed to us which has deeply intensified our motivation towards Telangana. Inspired by the sacrifices of many worthy lives of students and intellectuals, on 5th Dec 09, around 70 of our fellow Telanganites have united our voice and we have put our step forward confidently with a strong motivation of supporting the cause of Telangana to ornate it with its lost pride, privileges and prosperity in many number of ways.
Yuva Telangana has been coined mainly by a group of likeminded youngsters with commitment which felt that the youth of Telangana is the main strength behind every movement. Yuva Telangana invites all the youth to join us in providing the needed momentum for the cause. Yuva Telangana also honors the guidance from the experienced intellectuals with equal importance
